NORFOLK, VA. Three William and Mary pitchers combined on a five-hitter and Mitch Walk and John Lentz each hit a grand slam homerun to lead the Tribe of William and Mary (6-1) to a 15-0 non-conference win over Old Dominion (3-2) Tuesday afternoon.

Hunter Barden pitched six innings allowing only four hits and William Bray and Chris Ray finished up the shutout performance. William and Mary pounded out 17 hits led by Walk and Lentz who each knocked in five runs. Walk had four hits in six at bats, while Marshall Hubbard had three hits and scored three times. William and Mary took a 2-0 lead in the second as Matt Kirby hit a homerun with Marshall Hubbard aboard.

In the sixth, Lentz hit a grand slam off Evans with Trey Wakefield, Matt McGuire, and Matt Kirby aboard. In the ninth Mitch Walk hit his bases loaded homer with Will Rymes, Ben Keeton, and Kirby on base.

Old Dominion threatened in the fourth when Kevin Snapp Yorba Linda, CA.) doubled with one out, and Brandon Lenoir (Ocala, FL.) reached on a fielder's choice, then both advanced a base on a throwing error, but were left stranded.

The Monarchs return to action this weekend in the Citadel Berkeley Electric Tournament in Charleston, SC. ODU will play Virginia on Friday at 10 am, West Virginia on Saturday at 10 am and Virginia Tech on Sunday at 1:30.
