NORFOLK, VA-The Colonial Athletic Association has named Donnie Smith CAA Pitcher of the Week. The 6-2, 195 pounder from Portsmouth, VA. pitched a complete game three-hitter in Old Dominion's 14-2 victory over Delaware Saturday afternoon. Smith fanned a career high 12 batters and walked only three to improve his record to 4-2.

Smith currently ranks fifth in the CAA in earned run average at 2.48 and third in strikeouts with 72 in just 58 innings. This is the second time this year he has received this honor. ODU returns to action Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 when they host Duke.
