NORFOLK, VA--Old Dominion University senior righthander James Burok (Archbald, PA.) has been selected to the first team ESPN The Magazine /COSIDA Academic All-District III squad.

Last month, Burok was named recipient of the Jack Wilkins/James Howard memorial Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.

Burok graduated with a 3.95 grade point average in finance. He currently ranks second in the CAA in saves with six and has a 3-6 overall record with a 4.14 earned run average. Burok has struckout 53 batters in 50 innings of work.

He is now eligible to represent District III on the national ballot.
