NORFOLK, VA-- The Chesapeake Athletic Club awarded ODU senior outfielder Evan Chipman (Raleigh, NC.) with the Ralph Guzzo award given annually to the Monarchs Outstanding player.

Chipman currently ranks third in the CAA with 25 stolen bases this season. He is hitting .297 with a team high 47 runs scored along with 29 runs batted in.

He also ranks third in the lead with five triples. Chipman has played and started in all 51 games this season.

He and his fellow seniors, Ronnie Stahl and James Burok will be honored before Saturday's 5 p.m. game.
