Ryan Morris Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator

NORFOLK, VA--Nate Goulet, an assistant coach at East Tennessee State University the past six years has been named an assistant coach at Old Dominion University, as announced by head baseball coach Jerry Meyers.

Goulet served as ETSU's recruiting coordinator and worked with the catchers, hitters and infielders. Goulet also served as an assistant coach at Delaware State in 1999.

Goulet played collegiate baseball at Broward Community College in Fort Lauderdale, FL., and then transferred to play for current East Tennessee State head coach Tony Skole at Lincoln Memorial University.

While at LMU he earned all-conference honors as a shortstop in 1997 and helped lead the team to a No. 13 national ranking. After graduating in 1997, Goulet served as a graduate assistant for Skole during the 1998 season. The Nashua, NH. native graduated with a degree in kinesiology and health.

Goulet replaces Eric Folmar who took an assistance position at Penn State.
