Honors: Averaged 21.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game as a senior. Scored 27 points and 15 rebounds against Dr. Phillips High in Orlando,FL. Adams was selected Most Outstanding Player at the Benedictine High School Capital City Classic in Richmond, VA. He was also named the Tournament's Best Rebounder and to the All-Tournament team. Adams hauled in 46 rebounds in the three games. In one of those tournament games against Douglas Freeman, Adams scored 23 points and hauled in 14 boards. As a high school junior, Adams averaged 19.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game. He earned first team All-Region and first team All-State honors, leading Baylor to the state tournament quarterfinals.
NOTE: Godfather was Reggie White Adams placed second in the Tennessee state championships in the high jump, clearing 6-8.
