LAST GAME

DeShawn Painter scored 14 points with a career high 13 rebounds and Dimitri Batted added 12 points, but the Monarchs lost to CAA rival James Madison, 58-55 Wednesday evening. It was the Dukes first win over ODU since 2008-09 (70-62 in the Constant Center), ending the Monarchs eight-game win streak against the Dukes. JMU was led by forward Rayshawn Goins with 16 points and nine rebounds, followed by guard Ron Curry with 13 points, and four assists. The Monarchs shot .370 (20-54), and held JMU to .364 (20-55). ODU held the rebounding edge, 40-37, but JMU scored 18 points off ODU turnovers. ODU has outrebounded 12 of 14 opponents this season. Painter has three straight double-doubles and fifth of the season.
