an eight game losing streak to the Monarchs. Rayshawn Goins led JMU with 16 points and nine rebounds and Ron Curry scored 13. ODU was led by Painter with 14 points and 13 rebounds and Dimitri Batten scored 12 off the bench. ODU's last loss in Harrisonburg was in 2006-07, 72-65

The Monarchs lost to Georgia State at home last Saturday, 69-54 as Manny Atkins scored 21 points and R.J. Hunter added 20. ODU was led by Dimitri Batten with 14 and Donte Hill with 13 points,while Richard Ross blocked a career high five shots. GSU shot .404 from the floor, while ODU was .354. The Monarchs turnover the ball over 17 times, but also blocked nine Panther shots. It was only GSU's 3rd Ever win over the Monarchs in 18 games.

JMU Holds Off Monarchs, 58-55
NORFOLK, VA--ODU senior DeShawn Painter scored 14 points with a career high 13 rebounds and Dimitri Batted added 12 points, but the Monarchs lost to CAA rival James Madison, 58-55 Wednesday evening at The Ted Constant Convocation Center.
