NORFOLK, Va. (AP) (Feb. 2) - Michael Williams scored 5 of his 25 points during a 13-4 run midway through the second half and Old Dominion coasted by George Mason 75-64.

Old Dominion (10-12, 5-5 Colonial Athletic Association) led 46-38 when Williams made a three-point plat with 11:13 left to start the run. Williams later added two more free throws and Clifton Jones and Rasheed Wright had 3-pointers as the Monarchs opened a 59-42 advantage.

George Mason (12-9, 7-3) never got closer than 8 thereafter.

Williams scored 14 of his points in the second half and Andre McCullum added 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Monarchs. Skipper Youngblood finished with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

George Evans paced the Patriots with 21 points and Ahmad Dorsett had 16.

Andre Mcullum performed the double-double for the fifth time this year. The Monarch win ended George Mason's four-game win streak against ODU which included the three games last year and this year's first game in Fairfax.

The Monarchs return to action on Saturday for a 6 p.m. contest at UNC Wilmington. That contest will be televised live on Home Team Sports.
