Monarchs Drop 84-72 Contest to Delaware
Four Monarchs scored in double figures, but Devon Saddler posted 27 points and Jarvis Threatt scored all 19 of his points from the charity stripe Saturday to lead Delaware past Old Dominion 84-72 in the Colonial Athletic Association opener for the Blue Hens.

SERIES VS. DELAWARE
ODU leads, 14-7. The Blue Hens beat the Monarchs, 84-72 back on Jan. 5 in the Constant Center. In that game UD was 41-50 from the free throw line and ODu was 20-34. At total 58 fouls were called. ODU defeated UD in Newark, 68-66 in overtime last year.

CAA leading Northeastern defeated ODU, 79-74 Saturday in overtime at the Constant Center.
Dimitri Batten led ODU with a career high 25 points, followed by DeShawn Painter with 15 points And a career high 16 rebounds. NU was led by Joel Smith with 27 points, followed by Jonathan Lee With 19. ODU outrebounded NU, 48-35, but the Huskies were 25-29 (10-10 in overtime) from the free throw line.

KEN BAZEMORE UPDATE The two-time CAA Defensive Player of the Year, Kent Bazemore has appeared in 34 games
Thus far for the Golden State Warriors. He is currently averaging 1.5 points per game. He scored a Career high 11 points against OKC on Feb. 6. He scored 9 points (4-8 FG) along with 2 rebounds, 3 assts and two steals in a career high 30 minutes in a win over Cleveland. He also played 30 minutes with six points against Houston. Kent scored six points, four rebounds with five assists against Miami on Jan. 16 in 18 minutes. Bazemore is averaging 1.3 ppg.
