LAST GAME
ODU shot a blistering .589 from the field as five players scored in double figures to lead the Monarchs over the Seahawks of UNC Wilmington, 84-61 Wednesday night. The six Monarchs scoring in double figures were led by senior forward DeShawn Painter with 18, red-shirt sophomore Dimitri Batten with 15 while forward Richard Ross and freshmen guards Aaron Bacote and Keenan Palmore chipped in with 12 points each. The 84 points for the Monarchs was the most this season as was the .589 field goal percentage along with the 23 assists. Bacote, Palmore and junior guard Donte Hill each dished out six assists on the evening. The victory gave ODU Its first home win since Nov. 10th against Morgan State, and gave interim head Coach Jim Corrigan his second collegiate win of the season.

KEN BAZEMORE UPDATE
The two-time CAA Defensive Player of the Year, Kent Bazemore has appeared in 37 games thus far for the Golden State Warriors. He is currently averaging 1.5 points per game. He scored a career high 11 points against OKC on Feb. 6. He scored 9 points (4-8 FG) along with 2 rebounds, 3 assts and two steals in a career high 30 minutes in a win over Cleveland. He also played 30 minutes with six points against Houston. Kent scored six points, four rebounds with five assists against Miami on Jan. 16 in 18 minutes. Bazemore is averaging 1.3 ppg.
