NORFOLK, VA-- Collegeinsider.com has selected Alex Loughton (Perth,Australia) to the Mid-Major All-American team which consists of 21 players.

The 6-9 forward-center was the CAA Player of the Year, and Tournament MVP. He also earned All-Academic honors from the CAA and ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA.

Loughton averaged 13.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.5 steals per game. He shot .511 from the field and .768 from the free throw line in leading ODU to their first CAA championship since 1997.
