Kent Bazemore to Play in PIT

NORFOLK, VA-- ODU senior guard/forward Kent Bazemore will play in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, an annual tournament for NBA and overseas scouts. The PIT is April 11-14 at Churchland High School. Bazemore was a first-team All-CAA selection, averaging 15.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and three assists. He is a two-time selection as CAA Defensive Player of the Year. Bazemore scored a career high 37 points on senior night against Drexel and 28 points against Missouri State. He reached the 1,000 career poin mark in December at the University of Richmond and is only one of four Monarchs with over 200 career steals.
