The annual Big Blue Bar-B-Q is Thursday, May 8 from 5-8 p.m. at the Bank of America Plaza in downtown Norfolk. Four members of the Old Dominion University men's basketball squad will be presented one of the following awards; Best Represents ODU Basketball; Most Improved; Best Defense; and Most Valuable Player.

"This is an amazing event,"said Monarch head coach, Blaine Taylor. "It's a evening for everyone to have a good time and a chance for the people of Hampton Roads to meet our student athletes and staff."

The third annual event is being put on by the ODU Hoops Club. Tickets for the event are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. To order you tickets, cal the athletic ticket office at 683-5484.
