NORFOLK, VA-- Monarch head coach Blaine Taylor announced the following award winners at the May 5th Big Blue Bar B Que, held at the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

The Paul Webb "Best Represents ODU" went to graduating senior Kiah Thomas and junior Alex Loughton.

The Cal Bowdler "Most Improved" is sophomore point guard Drew Williamson.

The Mark West "Best Defensive Player" goes to freshman guard Brandon Johnson.

The team MVP is Alex Loughton who was also the CAA Player of the Year and Tournament MVP as well as the Player of the YEar in the State of Virginia by the RICHMOND TIMES DISPATCH and the Virginia Sports Information Director's Association.
