ODU leads the series, 29-23. ODU is 3-4 vs. UR under Blaine Taylor. Last year, the Spiders Defeated the Monarchs in overtime, 90-82 in Richmond. ODU won the 2010-11 game, 77-70 Here in the Constant Center. The Spiders have not beat the Monarchs here in the Constant Center.

LAST GAME
ODU dropped its CAA opener at William and Mary Saturday, 71-62. With the score tied at 40-40, the Tribe went on a 23-8 run the next 12 minutes for a 63-48 lead with less than five minutes reminaing. Monarch freshman Keenan Palmore led ODU with a career high 17 points along with six rebounds and Five assists. Nick Wright added 12 points. W&M shot .500 from the field and rebounding was even at 33-33. It was the Tribe's first win over ODU since the 2008 CAA tournament.

Approximately 400 tickets remain for Friday's rivalry men's basketball game with VCU, set for 9 p.m. at the Ted Constant Center. Tickets are available as well for the Monarchs Dec. 22 meeting with UVA at the Richmond Coliseum at 5:30 p.m. Seating is located in the ODU fan block and tickets can be purchased at coxtix.com.
