LEXINGTON, Va. (December 8) -- Andre McCullum scored 19 points and hit four free throws in the last 30 seconds to lead Old Dominion to a 71-62 victory over VMI Wednesday night.

The Monarchs (3-5) led 42-31 at halftime, but VMI (5-4) was able to tie the game at 57 when Nick Richardson hit a 3-pointer with 7:747 left. But Old Dominion hit all 10 of of its foul shots in the last seven minutes of the game and held on for the victory.

Skipper Youngblood led the Monarchs with 20 points and seven rebounds.

Richardson led the Keydets with 18 points. Aaron Demory added 11.
