NORFOLK, Va. (AP) (Dec. 18) - Andre McCullum and Michael Williams scored 10 points apiece for the Monarchs, but ODU lost to North Carolina-Wilmington, 60-49.

Old Dominon (4-6, 0-2 Colonial Athletic Association) missed 19 of 21 shots from 3-point range and shot just 32 percent overall to Wilmington's 44 percent.

Wilmington (5-1, 2-0) trailed 29-28 at halftime, but Brett Blizzard's 3-pointer with 15:02 remaining put the Seahawks ahead to stay, 33-32.

The Monarchs could not muster any inside attack after 6-8 center Skipper Youngblood had to sit down with four fouls with 9:45 left, and Wilmington pulled away.

Barron Thelmon scored 16 points including nine from the free-throw line while Stewart Hare added 10 points for the Seahawks.
