2011:
First Team All-CAA....Named First Team All-State by The Roanoke Times...Collected 111 tackles (58 solo, 38 assisted), including 14.5 tackles for loss to lead the Monarch defense ...Became the first Monarch to record over 100 tackles in a season...Posted double figure stops in four games including a career-high 17 tackles against Hampton....Also made 13 tackles against Towson and 11 tackles against #10 James Madison and Richmond...Added 3.5 sacks, a pair of interceptions, three pass break-ups, five defended passes, a fumble recovery, and a forced fumble on the season...Blocked a James Madison field goal as time expired to preserve ODU's 23-20 win over the Dukes and the Monarchs' first win over a top-10 program...Averaged 8.5 tackles per game, ranking him 12th in the league...Named College Football Performance Awards National Linebacker of the Week (10/1)... Made seven tackles (4 solo, 3 assisted), including 3.5 for loss, in the week six victory at Rhode Island, which gave the Monarchs their first ever CAA road win...The Monarch co-captain also had a 12-yard interception return that lead to the Monarchs' first scoring drive of the game...
2010:
Started all 11 games at linebacker moving from safety...Co-Captain...Led ODU in tackles with 74 (35 solo, 39 assisted)...Made five or more stops in 10 of the Monarchs' 11 games...Posted a career-high 11 tackles against #14/16 Cal Poly...Also had 10 stops, including nine solo tackles, in the season-finale at N.C. Central...Led the Monarchs with five fumble recoveries...Had a pair of fumble recoveries in the Homecoming Game with Georgia State...Third on the squad in tackles for loss making 10.5 stops for a loss of 39 yards...Forced two fumbles - at Monmouth and against future CAA opponent Georgia State...Had a 25-yard interception for a score against Savannah State...Made 2.5 sacks...Registered a pair of QB hurries...
2009:
Co-Captain...Started all 11 games at strong safety...Second on the Monarch roster in total tackles (65) and solo stops (46)...Led ODU in pass break-ups (7)...Second on the Monarch defense in interceptions (3)...Season-high 10 tackles against Virginia Union...Made seven unassisted tackles in the victory over Presbyterian...
HIGH SCHOOL:
Totaled 103 tackles, eight interceptions, 21 breakups, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two blocked punts as a senior...Earned all-conference honors...Coached by Greg Fuller...A member of the Warriors' two DCIAA indoor track & field championship teams.
