NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football will host its Pro Day on Thursday, March 21 when eight former Monarchs will work out in front of several NFL scouts.

Alex Arain, Chris Burnette, Nick Mayers, Jonathan Plisco, Carvin Powell, Erik Saylor, Devon Simmons and Craig Wilkins will take part in the bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 40-yard dash, position drills and other various skills, in front of NFL scouts.

As of Tuesday, nine teams have confirmed they will have at least one scout at ODU's Pro Day, including the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams and Washington Redskins.

Former Monarch and current Philadelphia Eagle Ronnie Cameron, will be in attendance.

"We're very excited current Philadelphia Eagle, Ronnie Cameron, is back on campus to support his teammates who will be working out and to visit friends in the Old Dominion community," ODU Head Coach Bobby Wilder said.

The Monarchs currently have three former players playing professionally, Thomas DeMarco (BC Lions) and Deron Mayo (Calgary Stampeders) in the CFL and Cameron in the NFL for the Eagles.

The event is closed to the public but stay tuned to ODUSports.com for a recap of the day.
