Tentative Times Released For Home Football Games

NORFOLK, Va. -- Tentative times for the Football Monarchs' six home games at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium have been released. The Monarchs' first three home dates - September 3rd vs. Campbell, September 17th vs. Hampton, and October 1st vs. Massachusetts on Family Weekend - will kick off at 6 p.m. ODU's games on October 15th with Towson on Homecoming, October 29th with James Madison in the revival of the Oyster Bowl, and November 5th with Richmond will kick off at 3:30 p.m. All times are tentative and subject to change. Times changes will be announced on ODUSports.com. The ODU Football Monarchs kick off their third season in 2011 joining the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), considered by many the toughest FCS conference in the nation. In their first two seasons of play, the Monarchs have compiled a 17-5 mark and have sold out all 22 home games at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium. Last season, ODU ranked fourth in the country in average attendance (19,782) and accumulated attendance (138,474).
