Beginning this fall, ODUSports.com and Monarch Media will present a weekly Monarch Spotlight that gives fans a chance to learn more about their favorite student-athletes at Old Dominion.

The latest installment of Monarch Spotlight focuses on football's freshman defensive end Andrew Everett who had a solo tackle, three assisted tackles, registered a sack and forced a fumble in his first collegiate game on Saturday in Old Dominion's 57-23 season-opening victory over Duquesne.
