RICHMOND, Va. - Old Dominion University sophomore Antonio Vaughan was named the CAA Special Teams Player of the Week, the CAA announced on Monday.

With ODU trailing 14-13, Antonio Vaughan picked up a rolling punt by William and Mary at the ODU 30, juked a defender and raced 70 yards down the left sideline, receiving several key blocks along the way, putting ODU on top 20-14 and helping the Monarchs to an eventual 41-31 victory.

The return was the longest punt return in school history and the first to be returned for a touchdown.

Vaughan also contributed three catches for 29 yards and a touchdown as the Monarchs beat the Tribe in the second ever battle for the Silver Mace.

Old Dominion takes on James Madison Saturday at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports.
