FURMAN, SC-- Old Dominion University placed four golfers in the top 20 who compiled a 293 score as the Monarchs are just four strokes off the lead after one round at the Furman Intercollegiate.
ODU senior Eric Onesi, the CAA Golfer of the Week (Bear, DE.) fired a first round score of 71 and is just six strokes behind Tanner Briele of Western Carolina. Also in the top 20 and tied with 74's are Neil Henderson (North Berwick Scotland), Tory Henderson (Bradenton, FL.) and Seth Norman (Virginia Beach, Va.).
Tied for first in the tournament are 29th ranked Chattanooga and 18th ranked Clemson.
