CHARLOTTE, NC-- Senior Stan Guerrero, junior Jeffrey Long and sophomore Eric Onesi each shot 72 and are tied for 18th after one round of the Palisades Collegiate Classic in Charlotte, NC. As a team, the Monarchs are tied with Nebraska, Francis Marion and Marquette for eighth spot with scores of 294.

Stan Guerrero shot 35 and 37, while Long and Onesi both shot 36 on the front and back. The host school Charlotte 49ers (279) lead the event by one stroke over USC Upstate (280).

Individually, Tyler Tucker of USC Upstate is tied with Davidson's Christopher Rollins at 67.
