COLLEGE PARK, MD--ODU senior Seth Norman (Virginia Beach, Va.) finished with a 217 for 54 holes and tied for 14th at the Maryland Intercollegiate. As a team, ODU placed eighth with 886.

Norman shot a 69 in the second round, then a 73 on Sunday. Junior Sam Wall (Gray's Essex, England )tied for 27th at 221 After firing a 70 on Sunday. Eric Onesi (Bear, DE.) and Tom Wilde (Berkshire, England) tied for 40 with 224's.

North Carolina won the event with an 849, followed by VCU at 850. Henry Zaytoun of North Carolina And Ben Kohles of Virginia tied for first at 206.

The Monarchs return to action on Oct. 4 and 5 at the Windon Memorial in Chicago.
