MANAKIN-SABOT, VA--Junior Eric Onesi(Bear,DE). shot a 67 today to finished with a 220 for 54 holes and senior Jeffrey Long (Centreville, VA.) finished at 215 in the VCU Shootout at the Hermitage Country Club. Long finished tied for 27th and Onesi tied with teammate and freshman Neil Henderson (North Berwick, Scotland) for 51st. Henderson had the Monarchs second best round today with a 69. Fellow freshman Thomas Wilde (Berkshire, Englans) shot a 74 today to finish at 219.

Wake Forest won the even with an 825, while Dustin Garza of Witchita State and Brendan Gielo tied for first at 201. ODU finished 15th with an 874, but the Monarchs had the fifth best round today with a 286.

ODU returns to action, Oct 6-7 at the Mizuno Savannah Intercollegiate in Georgia.
