RICHMOND, VA.-- Senior Stan Guerrero (Tijuana, Mexico) shot a 71 today and finished with a 54-hole score of 212 to tie for seventh in the VCU Shootout held at the Hermitage Country Club. As a team, ODU finished at 868 for tenth spot.

Guerrero finished in a tie with Jeff Kaiser of the University of Wisconsin. Penn State overtook the Badgers to win the tournament by three strokes at 845, while Kevin Foley of PSU was the individual champion at 201.

Junior Jeffrey Long had the Monarchs low round of the day at 70 and finished with a 221 to tie for 47th.ODU returns to action on Oct. 7 and 8 at the Coca-Cola Duke Classic.
