DURHAM, NC-- Sophomore Eric Onesi (Bear, DE.) shot 140 for 36 holes to tie for sixth at the Coca Cola Duke Classic. He is just four strokes behind leader Jonathon Hodge of UT Chattanooga. As a team, ODU is fifth, nine behind 13th ranked Duke.

Onesi shot 69 in the first round and 71 in the second for his 140 score. Stan Guerrero (Mexico)is tied for 15th at 142 while Jeffrey Long (Centreville, VA.) and Seth Norman (Virginia Beach, VA.) are tied for 23rd at 144.

ODU finished at 282 after the first round and shot a 287 for a 36- hole score of 569. Duke leads at 560, followed by UT CHattanooga at 561.

The final round is Monday.
