Wilde Tied For Eighth At 29th ODU-Seascape Tournament

KITTY HAWK, NC--Old Dominion University freshman Thomas Wilde (Berkshire, England) Carded a 36 and 34 for a first round score of 70 at the 29th annual ODU-Seascape Collegiate Golf Tournament. He is tied for eighth, just three strokes behind the tournament leader Cole Turner of George Washington who finished with a 67. As a team, ODU is fifth with a first round score of 290, just five strokes back of tournament leader Campbell University. Radford is second at 287, Elon is third at 288, USC Upstate is fourth at 289. ODU is two strokes ahead of George Washington and Binghamton. Freshman Neil Henderson (Berwick, Scotland) and senior Jeffrey Long (Centreville, VA) are tied For 30th after shooting 73, and our just six strokes back of the leader. Junior Matt Rendell (Berks, England) shot a 72 and is tied for 20th just five strokes back. Turner shot a 34 on the front and 33 on the back to lead Jim Bea of St. Joseph's, Jayson Judy of Elon and Sean Goshert of Radford by one stroke.
