PORTSMOUTH, VA-- ODU rising junior Eric Onesi (Bear, DE.) shot a 63 to finish at 262 and second place at the 52nd annual Eastern Amateur at the Elizabeth Manor Golf Course. Jude Eustaquio won the tournament title with a 64 on Sunday for a 72 hole score of 260.

Onesi made a strong run on Sunday as he shot a 6-under 29 on the back nine. Onesi, who won the Delaware State Amateur last week finished the day 7-under with a 63. He placed 12th last year. Onesi is a two-time ALl-CAA selection.

Fellow Monarch John Murphy finished at 276 and recent graduate Stan Guerrero finished at 287.
