KITTY HAWK, NC-- The Old Dominion University Monarch golfers host the 29th annual ODU-Seascape Collegiate Tournament Oct. 27 and 28 at the Seascape golf course. 15 teams will compete in this year's event, including four teams from the Colonial Athletic Association.

This year's field includes: Binghamton, Campbell, Drexel, Elon, George Mason, George Washington, James Madison, Liberty, ODU, Radford, South Carolina-Upstate, St. Bonaventure, St. Joseph's, Temple, and Towson.

Eighteen holes will be played on Monday and Tuesday. Former champions in this year's field include Campbell who won it in 2002 and 2006, Elon won the event in 1999, and host ODU has won the tournament four times, the last in 2005. Last year's champion was the University of Hartford, while the University of Richmond's Jordan Utley was the individual champion.

Leading the way for ODU is junior ALL-CAA and All-State selection Eric Onesi at 72.85, followed by newcomers Neil Henderson at 74.5 and Thomas Wilde at 73.75 followed by Jeffrey Long at 75.6.

Performers from some of the other teams to watch include: Jake Katz of Campbell (73.9); CAA Co-Golfer of the Week Trevor Sahn from Drexel placed sixth at the Big 5 Tournament;Jayson Judy of Elon placed 13th at Davidson's tournament last week; Brandon Barrack of George Washington (73.2); CAA co-Golfer of the Week Fielding Brewbaker of James Madison tied for second at the Frank Landrey Invitational, and Liberty's Tobias Pettersson (72.78).

Teams will tee off at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning.
