Former Monarch Ryan Sniegoski is now in his fourth season as an assistant coach. He also served as a volunteer assistant on the ODU staff for two years. Sniegoski will be focusing on all aspects of the game. Sniegoski played midfield for the Monarchs from 2000-03 and was a key contributor for those squads, including garnering Stihl Classic All-Tournament team honors in 2002. He served as the Monarchs team captian in 2003 as ODU went 15-4-1 and reached the second round of the NCAA College Cup. Prior to attending ODU, Sniegoski attended Acton-Boxborough High School in Boxborough, MA. where he finished as that school's all-time leading scorer. He also garnered numerous awards including All-New England, All-State and League MVP honors. He is the technical director for the Athletic Club of Norfolk (ACN), an Olympic Development Program (ODP) coach, and coaches the U-12 Athletic Club Norfolk soccer club. Sniegoski is currently pursuing a master's degree in physical education at ODU.
