Former Monarch Ryan Sniegoski returns for his fifth season as a full time assistant coach under Alan Dawson (2007-2011). He also served as a volunteer assistant coach for two seasons (2005-2006). Sniegoski focuses on all aspects of the program, including recruiting. Sniegoski played midfield for the Monarchs from 2000-2003 and was a key contributor for those squads, including garnering STIHL Classic All-Tournament team honors in 2002. He served as the Monarchs team captain in 2003 as ODU went 15-4-1 and reached the second round of the NCAA College Cup. Sniegoski graduated from ODU in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in early education followed by a Master's of Science in physical education in 2007. Prior to attending ODU, Sniegoski attended Acton-Boxborough High School in Boxborough, MA, where he finished as the school's all time leading scorer. He also garnered numerous awards including All-New England, All-State and League MVP honors. Currently Sniegoski is the Director of the Player Development System (PDS) and holds his USSF C coaching license.
