NORFOLK, VA--William and Mary (6-2-2/2-2) scored two second half goals en route to a 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association win over Old Dominion (5-4-1/2-1) Wednesday night. The loss ended ODU's three-game winning streak.

The two teams battled to a scoreless first half, but nine minutes into the second half Michael DiNuzzio scored his first goal of the season with an assist from Jeremy Harris to give the Tribe a 1-0 lead. The second goal was an own goal by an ODU defender trying to clear Nicholas Orozco's shot.

ODU outshot the Tribe, 8-7, but W&M had the edge in shots on goal, 5-4. Andrew McAdams came up with four saves for the Tribe. Dylan Montambo( Chesapeake, VA.) registered two shots on goal for the Monarchs along with one each from Jason Loizou (Virginia Beach, VA.), and Harry Gillespie (Jensen Beach, Fl.).

Freshman keeper Michael Roura (Middletown, NJ.) had one save and freshman defender Tommy Webb (Auckland, New Zealand) came up with two others for the Monarchs.

The Monarchs return to action on Saturday when they host Towson at 7 p.m. in a rematch of last Year's CAA final. Towson defeated George Mason tonight, 2-1 in overtime.
