NORFOLK, VA--Old Dominion (5-4-2/2-1-1) and Towson (6-3-1/2-1-1) battled to a 0-0 draw After two overtime periods and 110 minutes Saturday evening at the ODU Soccer Complex, in a rematch of last year CAA Championship.

The Monarchs outshot the Tigers, 18-11, but Towson led 4-3 on shots on goal. ODU junior Steffen Rabben (Valdres, Norway) had all three of the Monarchs shots on goal, while Nino Mangione led the Tigers with two.

John Steele had two saves for Towson, but it was his teammate Nicolas Bermudez Roa who Came in from no where to block Steffan Rabben's shot with 2:25 left in regulation. ODU's Freshman Keeper Michael Roura(Middletown, NJ.) had four saves on the evening, including a big one in overtime against Nino Mangione.

Last year, these same two teams battled to a 0-0 draw in the CAA finals with the Monarchs winning on penalty kicks.

ODU returns to action Wednesday in Atlanta, GA., when they take on Georgia State.
