ATLANTA, GA-- Junior Forward Steffen Rabben's ( Valdres, Norway) goal with less than 16 minutes left lifted the Old Dominion University Soccer Monarchs to a 1-0 Colonial Athletic Association victory over Georgia State. The Monarchs improve to 6-4-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the CAA.

After a scoreless first half, Rabben got a pass from junior Dylan Montambo (Chesapeake, Va.) and pumped it in for the game winner with 15:49 left in the match. Rabben leads the Monarchs in goals scored with five.

Shots were even at nine each and ODU freshman goal keeper Michael Roura (Middletown, NJ.) came up with four saves and registered his fourth shutout of the season.

ODU returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Hempstead, NY for a Saturday night match at Hofstra.
