NORFOLK, VA-- ODU Monarch senior midfielder Trevor Banks (Madison, WI.) has been selected to the third team Pre-Season All-American squad by COLLEGE SOCCER NEWS. Earlier this week, Banks was named Co-CAA Pre-Season Player of the Year.

ODU will play at the University of Virginia Saturday at 7 p.m. in Klockner Stadium which will be the final exhibition match for both teams.

Banks led the Monarchs in goals with six last year and he also assisted on three. Last weekend against American, he scored two goals in ODU's 2-0 exhibition win.

The Monarchs open the regular seasonon Aug.29th in Charlottesville against SMU in the first round of the UVA Soccer Classic. The home opener is Sept. 12 against Massachusetts in the first round of the ODU Stihl Soccer Classic.
