Greenville, NC (Oct. 4) - The Old Dominion men's soccer team used two second half goals to defeat CAA foe East Carolina, 2-0, on Oct. 4. Old Dominion improves to 4-4-1 overall, 2-0 CAA. The Pirates drop to 6-4, 0-2 CAA.

Both Monarch goals came within a two minute span early in the second-half, as Chad Denton (Va. Beach, VA) and Ben Cummins (Queensland, Australia) each found the back of the net. The Monarchs outshot ECU 17-7 and held a 5-3 advantage in corners.

The Monarchs will return to action on Oct. 7 when they host Richmond at 7 p.m.
