NORFOLK, VA-- The Dominion University Soccer Monarchs (9-7-2/6-4-1) will host the Huskies of Northeastern (7-4-7/5-2-4) in a Colonial Athletic Association quarterfinal matchup Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the ODU Soccer Complex. ODU is the fourth seed and Northeastern is the fifth seed.

The winner will play top seeded UNC Wilmington (10-9/7-4) Friday in Wilmington, NC. The other quarterfinal match will have sixth seeded Hofstra (6-8-4/5-3-3) against third seeded George Mason (10-6-2/6-4-1). The winner will play second seeded William and Mary (10-5-3/6-4-1) Friday in Wilmington.

ODU and Northeastern last played on Oct. 25th with the Monarchs winning, 2-1 in overtime on Nane Joseph's goal in the second extra period. ODU leads the series, 4-1.

Through 18 games, Steffen Rabben (Norway) leads the Monarchs in scoring with seven goals, two assists for 16 points. Senior Trevor Banks (Madison, WI.) is second with four goals, three assists for 11 total points.

The Monarchs have reached the CAA finals three of the last four years. ODU defeated Towson last year for the league title.

Admission is $5 for fans and admission is free for ODU students with a valid ID.
