Results

NORFOLK, Va. - No. 67 Old Dominion University men's tennis defeated Radford 4-0 Saturday evening at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.

With the win, the Monarchs improved to 6-3 on the year.

Old Dominion came out and was dominant in the doubles point. No. 30 Cetinel and Lopez Villa defeated No. 44 Sayer and Dehaen 8-5 at No. 1. Ochagavia and Kuwert cruised to an 8-0 win at No. 2 while No. 58 Wesley Barrett and Tim Schweig were up 7-1 at No. 3 before the doubles point was clinched.

Ochagavia made quick work of Stijn Meulemans at No. 2 singles with a 6-3, 6-3 triumph. Tim Schweig worked a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Randall Carter at No. 6 while No. 112 Lopez Villa clinched the match with a 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 win over Nicholas Sayer at No. 1.

Dante Terenzio and Wesley Barrett were each up in third sets while Jonas Kuwert was tied 4-4 in the third set with Patrick O'Keefe.

The Monarchs are back in action tomorrow when they face Navy at 11 a.m.
