FORT MYERS, Fla. - No. 54 Old Dominion University men's tennis earned a tough doubles point en rout to a 6-1 victory over Florida Gulf Coast Friday evening.

The No. 58 doubles team of Can Cetinel and Carlos Lopez Villa were 8-6 winners at No. 1 doubles while Dean Tsamas and Lance Lvosky defeated Wesley Barrett and Tim Schweig 8-7. Albert Ochagavia and Jonas Kuwert clinched the point with an 8-6 at No. 2.

Tsamas tied the team match at one point apiece with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Dante Terenzio at No. 3. Barrett got ODU on the board in singles with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 4 while Ochagavia won 6-4, 7-6 at No. 2.

Lopez Villa stayed unbeaten at 11-0 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Jordi Vives at No. 1. Zvonimir Podvinski was a 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 winner at No. 6 over Jackson Moore while Jonas Kuwert finished off the win with a 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 triumph at No. 5.

ODU is back in action on Sunday when they take on Florida Atlantic.
