BOCA RATON, Fla. - No. 54 Old Dominion University men's tennis defeated Florida Atlantic 6-1 Sunday afternoon, capping off a 2-0 weekend road trip.

The Monarchs improved to 9-3 on the year.

ODU won a tough doubles point, winning all three matches. No. 58 Can Cetinel and Carlos Lopez Villa were 8-3 winners at No. 1 while Albert Ochagavia and Tim Schweig clinched the point with a 9-8 triumph at No. 2. Darragh Glavin and Wesley Barrett notched the doubles sweep with a 9-8 win ast No. 3.

Zvonimir Podvinski got ODU on board in singles with a 6-0, 3-0 win at No. 5 while Tim Schweig delivered a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 6.

Carlos Lopez Villa clinched the team win with his 12th-straight win to start the year. Albert Ochagavia was a 6-3, 7-5 winner at No. 2 while Andre Morin-Kougouchoff was the only winner for FAU.
