Corpus Christi, TX -- The Old Dominion men's tennis team, currently ranked 75th in the latest ITA rankings, fell 5-2 to fourth seeded Boise State at the 34th annual HEB Collegiate Team Championship this weekend. One of the weekend's highlights included the Monarchs' Zoltan Csanadi defeating Marcus Bernton, who is ranked #60 in the ITA national rankings, at the number one singles position.

Boise State, ranked 64th in the latest rankings, took four victories in singles action. Winners on the Old Dominion side included Csanadi with a 6-2, 6-3 win at first singles, and Salman Mohammed, 6-1,6-3 at fifth singles.

In doubles action, the tandem of Izak van der Merwe and Mohammed used a 8-5 win for the lone Monarch victory in doubles play.

The 16 team tournament is the oldest collegiate team tournament in the country. Old Dominion currently stands at 6-4 on the season.
