No. 54 Men's Tennis Falls to No. 65 Virginia Tech, 5-0

LYNCHBURG, Va. - No. 54 Old Dominion University men's tennis dropped a tough doubles point and No. 65 Virginia Tech topped the Monarchs 5-0 Monday night at the Boonsboro Country Club in Lynchburg. The hokies eeked out a tight doubles point, winning matches at No. 1 and No. 2 while the Monarchs' Wesley Barrett and Tim Schweig were 8-6 winners at No. 3. Virginia Tech won all four singles matches that were played, while No. 5 and No. 6 singles were not played. Sophomore Carlos Lopez Villa dropped his first match of the season, a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 setback to No. 68 Amerigo Contini. Lopez Villa is now 13-1 on the year. No. 65 Virginia Tech 5 No. 54 ODU 0
