NORFOLK, VA -- The Old Dominion men's tennis team improved to 9-5 on the year with a 7-0 victory over Coppin State on Tuesday afternoon. All six singles players recorded straight set victories led by Calin Milos and Johan van Rooyen each with 6-0, 6-0 wins.

Zoltan Csanadi led the game off with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over James Montgomery at first singles, while second singles player Izak van der Merwe defeated Heneck Turefe, 6-3, 6-1. Patrik Binkowski was victorious, 6-1, 6-0, over Charles Spencer at the fourth singles position and Salman Mohammed used a 6-1, 6-1 game to capture the win at sixth singles.

All three doubles teams walked away with victories as well. The duos of Csanadi/Binkowski and van Rooyen/Pye Kyu each delivered a perfect 8-0 game. The first doubles team of van der Merwe and Mohammed allowed Coppin State to take just on game and finished with a 8-1 win.

The men's tennis team will return to action when they host the University of Richmond at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
