Day One Results

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Six Old Dominion University men's tennis players won in the opening round of the Wake Forest invitational led by Carlos Lopez Villa who defeated the No. 78 player in the country.

Lopez Villa cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 victory over No. 78 Andrew Mellow of Furman in his first match of the tournament.

Albert Ochagavia, Wesley Barrett, Can Cetinel, Darragh Glavin and Tim Schweig all won first round matches for ODU.

The tournament continues over the weekend starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.
