RICHMOND, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's tennis team went 3-2 on the weekend at the Virginia Commonwealth 4-1 Invitational. After topping Richmond and Radford on the first day, the Monarchs lost to Navy and Cornell before rebounding to end the tournament with a win over Liberty.

With the tournament, the Monarchs start the spring season at 3-2. They will next host UNC Greensboro (1 pm) and George Washington (8 pm) Friday at the Centre Court Racquet Club in Newport News.
