Norfolk, Va. - Old Dominion senior Aleksandr Seleznev (Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic) has been named the Colonial Athletic Association men's tennis player of the week, the league announced today.

Seleznev upset 47th-ranked Max Jones of New Mexico, 7-5, 6-1 last Thursday in the Monarchs' 4-1 road setback to the #68 Lobos. The victory was the first of the year over a ranked opponent for Seleznev, who improved his singles mark to 19-9, 12-6 at the No. 1 spot this season.
