Tournament Draws & Results

Norfolk, Va. – The Old Dominion University men’s and women’s tennis teams return to action tomorrow when they’ll host the Sergio Tacchini Collegiate Tennis Invitational (October 10-12) at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center and the Old Dominion outdoor tennis courts.

On the men’s side the tournament features nine singles and eight doubles draws, while the women’s competition includes 10 singles and nine doubles draws.  Play will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday with doubles matches scheduled for the entire day.  The singles competition will commence on Saturday at 8 a.m. with semifinals and finals to be held on Sunday beginning at 8 a.m. as well.

Participating teams include Christopher Newport, Costal Carolina, Delaware, Drexel, George Mason, George Washington, Hampton, Howard, James Madison, Lafayette, Liberty, Loyola, Manhattan, Mary Washington, Maryland Baltimore County, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Norfolk State, Old Dominion, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Towson, U.S. Military Academy, Villanova, Virginia Commonwealth, Virginia Tech.
