Went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships, falling to the eventual fifth and sixth place finishers... Finished the season 37-9 and went 7-0 in CAA action... Won a CAA title with a 7-1 victory over NCAA Qualifier Frank Cimato of Drexel... Accumulated three CAA Rookie of the Week Awards from 2/19, 2/12, and 1/15... Placed fourth at the prestigious Southern Scuffle... Took first place at both the Clarion Open and the Mat Town Open... Went on a 12-match winning streak from January 11, 2013 until March 21, 2013.
2011-12: Finished redshirt campaign with an overall record of 20-14 wrestling unattached... Went 3-2 at 141 and 17-12 at 149 for the Monarchs... Had three major decisions, two falls, and one technical fall... Placed fifth at both the Mat Town Open and the National Collegiate Open... Recorded a win over NCAA qualifier Matt Nereim of NC State in first collegiate bout.
Prep: Won the Super 32 Tournament, 5 Counties, MLK King of the Mat, El Cajon Invitational, Masters Championships as a junior... Won state championship as a senior, took fifth place as a junior and sixth as a freshman... Named the 2009-10 Wrestler of the Year by The San Bernardino County Sun... Career record of 156-17... Took third at the Senior Nationals in 2011.
